Operation Entebbe

What a country can do when its citizens were held hostage and asked for the release of captured terrorist in return of citizen? What if it is a crisis that involves flight highjack in to the hostile terrain? We (India) our self faced this problem in Kandahar. We bucked to terrorists demand. But there is an adventurous episode by Israel in similar stance in the past way beck in 1976. The operation against terrorist, famously know as Operation entebbe.Isreal, in this operation shown to the world that how small country can be it can never negotiate with national pride. It was French airline with Israelis and foreigner onboard hijacked by terrorist in to Uganda. Plane was grounded in entebbe - Uganda and terrorists demanded the release of terrorists who were captured and held in some of the European countries. To add to the worry Uganda state head Adi Ameen was supporting terrorists in their adventure. When entire world was helpless after knowing this hostile situation, Isreal planned for an operation to rescue its citizen.

Visit this link to know more about operation entebbe: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Entebbe

But what India did in Kandahar? Of course we made a decision to save our citizens but negotiate with the security of the nation. We need tolearn a lot from Israel, a country that got terrorism as a gift from the day of its birth.

Fountain head

Fountain head
This is one of the books which I liked and loved most, in fact next to geeta (I mean Bhagavat geeta).Author Ayn Rand had beautifully sculptured the main character Howard Roark (Hero). His dedication and love towards his profession is awesome. Through this novel Ayn sends a message which is blending of philosophy and objectivism. Though narration of each character run over many pages, once you involve yourself in the story you will enjoy it. The novel focus on the message through each of the characters not limiting it to just hero character.

Story is about a young architect who fights against all the odds that are thrown by some of the stalwarts of the society against him. His indifference towards insult during early stage of his career and mild acceptance of name and fame after getting recognition for his work is an "ideal" one. His strive for reaching perfection through out the life without kissing frustration in any stage of his life is a lesson for professionals”. He is the person who can never get hurt by any worst situation of life. Serenity is natural state of his life which is effort less to him.  Ultimately in single sentence its all about "things as they are and things as they ought to be". "Fountain head" conveys that “man’s ego is the fountain head of human progress” - a must read novel by Ayn Rand believed to be best of her novel collection.

Belinda

Hi, Any  Belinda's fans here. This one is a wonderful song by Belinda Carlisle. I liked both music and lyrics. Do listen to it once. Good one. :) Njoy maadi.

Ooh heaven is a place on earth...

When the night falls down
I wait for you
And you come around
And the world's alive
With the sound of kids
On the street outside

When you walk into the room
You pull me close and we start to move
And we're spinning with the stars above
And you lift me up in a wave of love...

Ooh, baby, do you know what that's worth ?
Ooh heaven is a place on earth
They say in heaven love comes first
We'll make heaven a place on earth
Ooh heaven is a place on earth

When I feel alone
I reach for you
And you bring me home
When I'm lost at sea
I hear your voice
And it carries me

In this world we're just beginning
To understand the miracle of living
Baby I was afraid before
But I'm not afraid anymore

Ooh, baby, do you know what that's worth ?
Ooh heaven is a place on earth
They say in heaven love comes first
We'll make heaven a place on earth
Ooh heaven is a place on earth

Nudimuthu - Quotes 2

People are good until we start expecting something from them.

There is nothing called good people and bad people. We can dichotomize people in to two categories. People who set examples for how one should be and people who set examples for how one should not be.

Your I can is more important than your IQ

Your effort and God's support can help you to achieve anything in this world.

Displaying of wealth and brain both are vulgar.

Moral fibre

There was one question which was bugging my mind. What is moral fibre? Is it a ready to die attitude towards beloved one (as in "the girl next door") or else doing something on which we have a strong believe? The later stresses on tenacity of a person. Be it in one's profession, or a personal relation.

If we consider first one it could mean ready to do anything for your beloved one or someone whom you care most without expecting any return.

I believe that later one makes more sense. Doing something on which we have strong belief. Where we do not expect any return but do it as a duty. In our life most of the time for "every" deed we expect some return in our favor. Of course that is true. But there are some occasions in life where we do it without expecting any return. This trait is because of some enigmatic reason. The return will be joy that emanate within us and boost our moral further and make us to act further towards our belief. This belief could be sole purpose of our life, goal of our life or even it could be a personality.
